Candle Season

Candle Season

Thursday 12th November 2020

Is there anything better than candle season? Whether your candle is on the mantle, the bedside or coffee table, nothing beats the smell when you first walk into the room.

We all love a candle right? But it turns out lighting a scented candle at home can do much more for you that just smell lovely. If you didn't know already, here are a few benefits of burning your favourite:

Boost your mood...
Scented candles are well known for being mood boosters. Certain aromas affect our emotions and can transport us into a different time or memory. Floral fragrances such as roses, lavender and jasmine help you feel calm and relaxed, helping you feel better. But just choose a fragrance that makes you happy.
Our fragrance pick for boosting your mood is a Lime & Ginger Candle.

Improved sleep...
Busy lifestyles and everyday stress affect our sleep patterns and you might often find yourself lying awake at night. Lighting a scented candle (of course we recommend anything lavender for this) releases relaxing aromas that leave you feeling content and calm.
Our favourite to help you sleep is the Vetiver & Lavender Candle.

Stress relief...
One of the biggest benefits of scented candles is that they help to relieve stress. We all know deep breathing can help, so lighting a candle with a gorgeous scent helps to keep us calm and breathe in the scent, in turn helping to ease your anxiety and worries.
My ultimate stress relief scented candle pick would be a Green Fig Candle.

Create atmosphere...
And it's not just the endless benefits that make a scented candle a must have. Whether you're enjoying a well-earned night in alone or entertaining family and friends, scented candles can help set the mood before visitors arrive, letting them encounter lovely aromas as they enter the room, making everyone happy and feeling good.
Seaweed & Samphire Candle and Wild Fig and Saffron are lovely scents to try.

When deciding on your next fragrance candle, it's important to think what you need. Do you need a little help relaxing and relieving stress? Or do you need to re-energise and refresh?
